Angel Martinez, Founder and CEO of Coastal Sports Digital Network and Sports Radio 102.9 The Game, launched his network in May 2020 under the original name Broad ST South. With roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a studio based in the Tampa Bay area, Angel set out to create a new kind of sports media platform-one dedictaed to putting sports back at the forefront through in-depth interviews, comprehensive analysis, major league and college sports coverage, and exclusive stories not found anywhere else.

What began as an all-digital sports platform has grown into a nationwide and global network, connecting sports fans with live programming, original content, interviews, analysis, and coverage across multiple sports and entertainment platforms.

Under Angel’s leadership, Coastal Sports Digital Network has developed a diverse audience and a growing lineup of live programming featuring professional athletes, team owners, general managers, musicians, radio and television personalities, and other notable voices from the world of sports and entertainment.

A proud member of the U.S. Armed Forces, Angel brings the same commitment to service, pride, and dedication to his work in sports broadcasting and his community.

Beyond his role as CEO, Angel was the Spanish-language play-by-play broadcaster for the former Orlando Predators of the Arena Football One League. His broadcasting and media credentials include coverage and access involving the University of South Florida, Cure Bowl, ReliaQuest Bowl, Women’s NCAA Final Four, Tampa Bay Sun FC, U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational, NFL Radio Row, Pro Bowl, Orlando Storm, St. Pete Grand Prix, ARCA Menard Series, IMSA Sebring, GTWorld America and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
